ghfdh reA short documentary film ‘TASMINA THE HORSE GIRL’ has been officially selected for screening in MICE Film Festival, to be held in Valencia, Spain from 19th to 26th of this month. As requested by the director, the film will be shown on International Mother Language, one of the most significant day in the history of Bangladesh.

Faridur Rahman, Director and Mahbuba Begum Hena, Producer of the documentary left for Madrid on Wednesday to attend the Film Festival. It may also be mentioned that Mahbuba Begum Hena has been nominated as a Jury Member for a different category in the festival.

Meanwhile ‘TASMINA THE HORSE GIRL’ received several international recognitions, including Best Short Documentary, Women’s International Entertainment Film Festival, Theme Prize in Prix Jeunesse International in Munich, Germany.

Official selection and Honorable mention include LA Cinefest, Los Angeles; Transylvania Short Film Festival, Tirgu-Mures, Romania; 24th Contravision Film Festival, Berlin, Germany, DocuTIFF, Tirana, Albania, FAN Chile Film Fest, Argentina, Festival Film Rakayat, Indonesia and Olympia Film Festival for Children and Youth in Pyrgos, Greece.
