United News of Bangladesh :: Around 300 ducks were poisoned to death at a farm of Kumarkhali village in Morelganj upazila (Bagerhat) on Thursday.
Farm owner Harun Hawladar claimed that the ducks died after taking paddy laced with poison in the evening.
He also said there were some 400 ducks in his farm.
Officer-in-charge of Morelganj Police Station Rashedul Alam said Harun filed a general diary (GD) with his police station in this regard.
He said miscreants might have mixed poison with paddy following previous enmity.
